On December 4th, 2021, at 7:15 PM, Ovations Night Club located close to Rice Village in Houston Downtown, will open their doors to present Tereluz and “Sigismondi’ s trio” in their delightful and intimate concert “Christmas in Town”.

The performance will feature traditional/popular American Christmas music with some Latin color and a slight touch of jazz. Ovations is an elegant venue that combines the vision of a traditional American town with this magical concert which will balance all what is needed for an enchanted American Christmas night. The spectacular band is formed by the charming singer Tereluz and Sigismondi’ s trio, featuring acclaimed jazz players Thomas Helton (Bass), Alexandre Loukachine (Drums), and William Sigismondi (Piano).

About the musicians

Tereluz is a Houston-based oil and gas professional who’s always had her heart set on music. She is versatile and daring, singing in several languages and genres. She has performed in several theaters in USA, including in Houston, New York, Florida, and Pittsburg. Internationally, she has performed in Mexico and Venezuela. On this occasion, Tereluz will interpret traditional/popular American Christmas melodies and few Spanish tunes that will captivate the whole audience.

William Sigismondi

“El maestro” Sigismondi has lived in the USA since 2016 and in Houston since 2019. He has performed around the world as a pianist and as a band conductor. William is a world-renowned arranger, a brilliant pianist, and an impeccable composer, winning a Grammy award in 2013.

Thomas Helton

Houston bassist and composer Thomas is a multifaceted improviser and skilled interpreter of contemporary bass repertoire. Equally adept at playing jazz, classical, experimental, and avant-garde music, Helton continues to push and redefine the possibilities of his instrument by embracing extended performance techniques and new compositional forms.

Alexandre Loukachine

Sasha came to Houston in 1993 to study English for a semester, but later that year, he joined the Clark Terry Institute of Jazz in La Mars Iowa. Four years later, he relocated to NY where he recorded his first solo album with his quintet, featuring Clark Terry on trumpet. After working in NY for 3 years, Sasha came back to Houston where he currently resides and performs.
