Tablao Flamenco presents "La Canastera" on July 2, 5:30pm at Shevere Bar.
Flamenco art has been enriched by the contributions of elements of the folklore of Central and South America. Thus, we can say that the GUAJIRA (Cuba), and the MILONGA (Argentina) are the palos that begin their entry into the flamenco world, followed later by the COLOMBIANA (Colombia) and the RUMBA (Cuba).
On this occasion, the dancers Mela Fuentes, Maria Fernanda Urbaez and Christian Vega, and the musicians José Tejeda, Jesús Pacheco and Celia Sellers will be accompanied by the violinist Eddy Marcano.
Tablao Flamenco La Canastera is projected into the future with the premise of spreading the best flamenco in Katy, Tx under the careful artistic direction of Maria Fernanda Urbaez.
